Before resetting the service light on a Hyundai i40, perform the car service, which includes changing the oil and oil filter, replacing the air filter, topping up fluids, and checking the engine and timing belt. To reset the service light, turn on the ignition, press the Auto Menu button, and select the spanner symbol. Press the down arrow button to select the next mileage for the service, wait for the light to turn off, and conclude by switching off the ignition before restarting it to complete the reset.
