How ProPilot Assist works on an Infiniti QX55. When traffic is flowing smoothly, you can use the driver assist. Stay centered in your lane. Press the button on the right side of the steering wheel, at the far end, and to set the speed for intelligent cruise control, you must be going at least 22 miles per hour, after which you can select with set. You can adjust the speed with plus and minus. If you want to disable intelligent cruise control (ICC), press "cancel". If the vehicle in front of you is going slower than the set speed, the ICC automatically adjusts to that vehicle. When the road is clear, it automatically returns to the set speed. To adjust the distance to the vehicle ahead, use the distance button. Each time you press the distance button, it will adjust to the new setting. It can be adjusted at any time depending on traffic, and the distance will adjust with speed; if you go faster, the distance will be longer. If the vehicle in front of you stops, the QX55 will do the same. When the road is clear, the car will automatically resume.
