How to Replace the Air Filter on a Jaguar XJ

In this video tutorial, we can see how to replace the air filter on a Jaguar XJ: the first step is to purchase a new air filter from an authorised dealer. The next step is to lift the front bonnet of the car and secure it with the appropriate prop. Disconnect the MAF sensor connector; if it is a biturbo, you should find two sensors to disconnect. Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the clamps holding the intake hose onto the air filter box. Once the clamps are loosened, disconnect the hose from the filter box. Remove the small tube located at the bottom of the airbox; detach the cover by unfastening the clips and pull out the old filter element from its housing. Clean the filter housing and then position the new filter in place.
