Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Changing the oil and its filter is typical DIY maintenance, but it is essential to dispose of everything properly afterwards. Lift the vehicle on suitable car ramps to facilitate access to the oil sump, remove the protective plate located just under the filter, and proceed to drain the used oil and replace the filter: coat the gasket of the new filter with oil before screwing it on to improve adhesion and apply a new washer to the oil sump plug; fill the engine with clean oil, start the engine for a few minutes, then check the level after lowering the car from the ramps.
