Resetting the service light for a 2012 Jaguar XF is very straightforward. This operation, which will take only a few minutes, can be done independently. First, turn on the vehicle's instrument cluster and press the TRIP button on the steering wheel to access the settings menu; then switch off the instrument cluster. Next, press and hold the main beam button for 10 seconds while simultaneously pressing the TRIP button. Wait for the light to go out before releasing the buttons and switching off the instrument cluster. Finally, restart it to verify that the reset has been successful.
