How to replace the key fob battery of a Jeep Grand Cherokee? Follow this guide. Take your key fob and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a small screwdriver to pry between the two covers until they separate into two pieces. Remove the worn battery from the housing, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the battery into the key fob cover, then insert the metal key back into the cover. Check that the key fob functions correctly.
