Access to the fuel pump on a Jeep Renegade

In this video we see where the fuel pump is located on a Jeep Renegade. Like many modern cars, we find it inside the passenger compartment. To access it, we need to remove the rear seat cushion, because the pump is right there, behind the driver's seat. We will find a rubber cap, and after removing it, we will find the pump, from which we will have to disconnect the electrical connector and the delivery pipe. After doing this operation, we can remove it from its housing, which, let's remember, means that the pump is immersed in the fuel. It is therefore necessary to exercise caution in the operation, to avoid spilling gasoline or diesel inside the passenger compartment.
