Accessing the Fuel Pump on a Jeep Renegade

In this video, you will see where the fuel pump is located on a Jeep Renegade. As with many modern vehicles, it is found inside the cabin area.

To access it, you need to remove the rear seat base, as the pump is located directly underneath, behind the driver's seat. You will find a rubber cap, and after removing it, you will see the pump, from which you need to disconnect the electrical connector and the fuel line.

After completing this operation, you can remove it from its housing, which, remember, means that the pump is submerged in fuel. Therefore, exercise caution during this operation to avoid spilling petrol or diesel inside the cabin.
