How do you reset the Service light on the Jeep Compass?

The Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Jeep Compass can be reset by inserting the ignition key, turning it to turn on the instrument panel. Once the instrument panel is on, you will need to press and hold the accelerator pedal and simultaneously press the brake pedal three times in a row. When this operation is completed, you can release the pedals by turning off the instrument panel. Once the instrument panel has been reset, you will need to turn it on again to verify that the reset of the light has occurred.
