How to Replace the Engine Oil Filter on a Jeep Renegade

How to replace the engine oil filter on a Jeep Renegade? Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet and secure it. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the large securing bolt of the oil filter housing. Remove the air filter kit (if necessary) to access the housing and extract the worn oil filter, then position a new one. Lift the car on a jack and unscrew the bolt from the oil sump; allow the fluid to drain into a container. Finally, top up with new oil and close the bonnet.
