How to replace the thermostat in the Jeep Compass?

In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the thermostat in the Jeep Compass, a simple operation that requires good manual skills. First of all, let's make sure that the engine is completely cold. Then, we open the radiator cap, place a container underneath the vehicle, and drain all the coolant by opening the indicated drain valve. Next, we disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, the intake duct, and the two indicated connectors, remove the air filter box, and proceed with disassembling the thermostat housing. Once the replacement is complete, we can reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure and add the necessary amount of coolant to reach the maximum level.
