To replace the key fob battery on a Jeep Renegade, first, pull out the metal key from its slot by unlocking the release lever. Once extracted, insert the tip into the hole just above the key slot and lever it open to access the electronic board and battery. Using a screwdriver, remove the battery from its slot and replace it with a new one. To reassemble, simply reverse the steps described.
