How to Replace the Front Headlight Bulbs in a Jeep Renegade

Here’s how to replace the front headlight bulb in a 2014 Jeep Renegade. This uses an H13 bulb, a dual filament bulb that manages both the main beam and dipped beam. In the engine compartment, near the headlight, there is a rubber cover; grasp the tab and pull to remove the cover, inside which there is an electrical connector at the base of the bulb: disconnect it. At this point, the bulb is held only by a bayonet mechanism, turn it counterclockwise and pull it out. Prepare the new bulb (never touch the glass with your fingers). Place the bulb in the housing, turn it clockwise, and reconnect the connector. Close the cover and you’re done. Remember, the used bulb goes in the general waste.
