How to replace the battery in a Jeep Renegade? Let's see the replacement. Take your remote control and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the two key covers. Pry until the cap separates from the cover. Remove the flat battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two parts of the cover with the buttons by pressing on the key remote until you hear the locking click. Finally, insert the metal key back into the remote. Check the proper functioning of the buttons.
