How to activate or deactivate the Cruise Control on a Jeep Compass? Follow the video. Enter the cabin, turn on the instrument cluster, and press the buttons next to the steering wheel (On, Off, Up, and Down buttons). Select the option for activating the Cruise Control (use the Up and Down buttons to set the cruising speed). While cruising, press the brake pedal to deactivate the Cruise Control or press the Off button (as shown in the video). Use the Cruise Control on long journeys while always maintaining a safe distance (if the vehicle does not have modern assisted braking systems).
