How to Reset the Oil Light in a Jeep Wrangler JK

Model: Jeep Wrangler MK 3, JK - Years 2007-2018

To reset the engine oil light in the Jeep Wrangler JK, first, turn on the ignition by turning the key inserted in it. The light indicating the need for an oil change is located at the bottom of the right dial (the one measuring engine RPM), on the third digital line at the bottom. At this point, turn off the ignition and turn it back on, press and hold the accelerator pedal for about three seconds, then turn off the ignition again. Remove the key from the ignition and reinsert it, turning on the ignition and the engine. After a few seconds, turn off the engine and turn the ignition back on, and you will see that the light has been reset.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
