In this video tutorial, see how to disassemble and replace the battery of the key fob on a second-generation Jeep Compass. First, take your key fob and extract the key inside it; then, pry open the fob using something thin to split it into two parts, as shown in the video. At this point, you have access to the circuit board and the battery, which you will remove and replace; insert the new battery, of the correct type, in the correct orientation and reassemble everything, following the video to the end!
