Replace Fuel Pump on Jeep Patriot

Let's see how to remove the fuel pump from a Jeep Patriot. Disconnect the battery cables located in the designated compartment, then remove the rear seat cushions of the car and locate the fuel cap. Unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (if present) with a socket, remove it from its seat, and cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to catch any fuel leaks. Disconnect the power connectors and the circulation hoses, remove the plastic securing nut, and extract the fuel pump from its seat along with any associated parts. Test the operation of the fuel pump after completing the installation.
