Jeep Wrangler - Video tutorial

Model: Jeep Wrangler TJ, MK 2 - Years 1997-2007
Operation: How to clean and adjust the rear drum brakes on the Jeep Wrangler MK2

In this video we will see the main instructions to be able to clean and restore the rear drum brakes and how to adjust them on a Jeep Wrangler first series. First of all we are going to remove the rear wheel, then removing the central cover of the drum; then unscrew the central bolt. Once the drum has been removed we go to sandblast (if rusty) and then clean the brake plate and the drum itself with degreaser; replace the rear shoes if necessary. For the adjustment of the shoes we will make a possible modification to the brake wire, in which there is a register to loosen or tighten the wire.
