This video shows how easy it is to remove the battery from the remote key for the Jeep Renegade. Simply insert a small flat screwdriver into the seam of the remote key shell, lever it open, and remove the cover.

At this point, use the small flat screwdriver to extract the old battery. Once the old battery is removed, insert the new battery, which must be a CR 2032 3V, to ensure proper functioning of the remote.

After inserting the new battery, reassemble the remote in reverse order. Test its operation by locking and unlocking the vehicle.
