How to Change the Oil and Oil Filter on the Jeep Compass 2.4 cc

To change the oil and oil filter on a Jeep Compass, follow these steps: first, lift the oil dipstick, go under the car, locate the oil drain plug, and unscrew it with a 13 mm spanner, allowing the oil to drain into a container below. Once the oil has drained, clean the oil drain plug and screw it back in. Move a bit further and find the oil filter, which you will unscrew with a special filter spanner, allowing any remaining oil to drain. Take the new oil filter, lubricate the gasket with new oil, and once all the oil has drained, screw it back into place. Now, move to the top, open the oil filler cap, use a funnel, and pour in the litres specified by the manufacturer. After pouring in the correct amount of oil, check with the dipstick to see if it is at the maximum mark; if it is at that level, the operation is complete, otherwise top up as needed. Finally, reset the service light by turning on the instrument cluster, pressing the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds, and then turning off the ignition.
