How to Reset the Service Light on a Jeep Compass

To reset the service light on a Jeep Compass, follow these simple steps. Before resetting, perform the service operations, which include changing the oil and oil filter, replacing the cabin air filter, and checking the belt and engine. To change the oil, lift the vehicle and use a spanner to open the oil sump, allowing the oil to drain before closing the plug. Lower the car and remove the nut securing the filter. Once the filter is replaced, you can top up the oil. To replace the cabin air filter, remove the glove compartment and take out the old filter to insert a new one. To reset the light, turn on the ignition and connect the vehicle to the diagnostic computer.
