How to Remove the Expired Service Warning on the Jeep Compass

In today's video, we will see how to reset the expired service warning on the Jeep Compass (the procedure is identical for the Jeep Renegade): Start by turning on the instrument cluster by turning the key to position 1 or pressing the start button once. Now, press the brake pedal without releasing it. Fully press the accelerator pedal three times within 30 seconds while keeping the brake pedal pressed. Now turn off the instrument cluster and then release the brake pedal. On the next restart, the vehicle will have cleared the expired service message, and you can proceed.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
