How to Remove the Radio from a Jeep Wrangler Mk3

This guide shows how to remove the radio from a Jeep Wrangler Mk3. The first step is to lift the container located on top of the centre console and undo the 7 mm bolt. Remove the trim panel at the bottom of the steering wheel and undo the two bolts on either side of the steering wheel. Remove the electric window control module and take out the other 7 mm screw that is revealed. At this point, you can remove the trim bezel of the centre console; you may lower the steering wheel for more working space. Now, remove the four mounting bolts of the audio unit and pull it out. Disconnect the electrical connectors and take out the audio unit.
