In this tutorial, you will learn how to reset the oil service light on a Jeep Compass. This operation is very simple and quick, to be performed only after completing all scheduled maintenance tasks, including changing the oil filter.

Start by inserting the key and turning on the ignition, but not the engine. Then, press the accelerator pedal fully five times in quick succession.

Once done, a message on the left display will confirm the reset. You can verify that the procedure was successful by turning the ignition off and then back on.
