Replacing the Remote Control Battery on the Jeep Compass

This video shows the procedure to follow for replacing the remote control battery. From the remote, extract a metal key from the bottom, behind which you will notice a latch. Now, using a flathead screwdriver, press on the mentioned latch until the two parts of the remote disconnect. Inside, you will find the battery to be replaced, a lithium CR2032 model. After removing the old battery, before installing the new one, check the condition of the clips that hold the battery in place, ensuring they are intact and respecting the + and - polarity. Finally, snap the two parts of the remote back together, and the procedure is complete.
