How to Replace the Oil Filter and Engine Oil in a Jeep Wrangler

In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the oil filter and engine oil in a Jeep Wrangler by following these essential steps: First, lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop rod. Next, take a 24 mm socket wrench and unscrew the oil filter. Once you have removed the cartridge with the filter, replace the old filter by placing the new one in the cartridge, and change the cartridge seal before screwing it back in. Now, tighten the filter using the 24 mm socket wrench. After securing the new filter, lift the vehicle with a jack and place safety jack stands under it. Position a container to collect the used oil under the oil sump, unscrew the oil drain plug with a spanner, and wait for all the oil to drain into the container. Then, screw the oil drain plug back in. Lower the vehicle and top up with new engine oil using a funnel.
