How to reset the oil change service light on the Jeep Cherokee

To reset the oil change service light on your vehicle, follow these steps: enter the cabin and sit in the driver's seat. When you turn on the ignition, the "oil change service" indicator will appear. At this point (with the engine off), press the accelerator pedal fully and quickly three times. After that, release the pedal and turn the key to switch off the ignition. This will reset the oil change service light, which you can verify by turning the ignition back on to check that it has turned off.
