How to Replace the Key Battery on the Jeep Wrangler

If you notice that the remote key for your vehicle no longer unlocks the central locking, it is likely time to replace the battery. To do this, you will find simple instructions below and in the video. First, get a small screwdriver to pry open the joint between the remote and its cover. Once the rear cover is removed, you will have access to the battery, and with the same pointed object, you can pry it out and replace it with a new one, ensuring the positive terminal is facing upwards. Next, reposition the cover and snap it back on, and you’re done.
