How to Replace the Oil Filter and Engine Oil and Reset the Oil Light on a Jeep Compass

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the oil filter and engine oil and reset the oil light on a Jeep Compass. The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Raise the vehicle with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands underneath. Unscrew the drain plug and place a container under the oil sump, waiting for all the oil to drain into the used oil container. Meanwhile, unscrew the old oil filter and replace it with the new one. Screw the drain plug back in, lower the vehicle, unscrew the oil filler cap, and add the correct amount of oil using a funnel (check the vehicle's user manual). To reset the oil light, get in the vehicle, close all the doors, insert the key, and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Then press the accelerator and brake pedals five times, and finally start the engine.
