How do you replace the remote key battery on your Jeep Renegade? In this simple video, see how to do it. Get a new battery and a small flathead screwdriver. To start, extract the metal key from the remote and use it to push against the groove as shown in the video. Then, make a small rotational movement until the plastic cover opens. Once you find the worn battery, extract it with the small screwdriver and replace it with the new battery. Close the cover by aligning the two parts together. Finally, insert the metal key back into the remote.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
