How do you replace the remote key battery on your Jeep Renegade? In this simple video, see how to do it. Get a new battery and a small flathead screwdriver. To start, extract the metal key from the remote and use it to push against the groove as shown in the video.

Then, make a small rotational movement until the plastic cover opens. Once you find the worn battery, extract it with the small screwdriver and replace it with the new battery.

Close the cover by aligning the two parts together. Finally, insert the metal key back into the remote.
