In this guide for your 2012 Kia Optima, discover step by step how to correctly perform the manual reset of the engine oil light. First, insert the key and turn on the instrument cluster.

Next, locate the "trip" button on the lower left side of the steering wheel and press it for a few seconds. Release it once you enter the diagnostic menu and select the "Maintenance" option.

Then, enter "Engine oil" and select the kilometres remaining until the next change. Finally, exit the menu, and you are done.
