Lancia Ypsilon - Video tutorial

Model: Lancia Ypsilon MK 2, 843, Ypsilon 2, Y2 - Years 2003-2011
Part: Throttle body
Operation: How to clean the throttle body in the Lancia Ypsilon.

To clean the throttle body, the air box must first be disassembled, using a 10 mm hex wrench; it is better to carry out this operation with a cold engine. If you see that the air box does not come off it means that there is also a third pressure screw. You now have access to the throttle body. For cleaning used a cleaner for mechanical parts; if the throttle body is not particularly dirty, you can also clean it without removing it. After an initial cleaning, you must perform another cleaning, this time with the engine running and giving the accelerator gas; you can also clean the pressure sensor which is housed on the intake manifolds (use a cleaner for electrical contacts), spray at a distance without using paper. Then reassemble the piece.
