How do you remove the original radio on a Land Rover Freelander 2? Carefully follow these steps for disassembly. Unscrew the screws on the centre console with a screwdriver (as shown in the video), then use a plastic or metal lever to pry off the centre console trim (be careful not to break the plastics); detach the frame from the dashboard, remove the air conditioning control panel located beneath it along with the original radio (disconnect the various power wiring). Finally, fit a new radio or DVD into the console using the appropriate frame adapter and power connector adapter.
