How to remove the gear knob from a Freelander 2. Start by using a plastic lever to detach the leather gaiter frame and lift it; take the knob in your hands and rotate it to the left until you remove it from the gear stick. For reassembly: take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console (screw it onto the stick).

Fit the new leather cover gaiter with the clips (if damaged). Finally, test the movement of the stick in the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
