Key Battery Replacement for Freelander

Replacing the key battery on a Land Rover Freelander. Let's look at removing the old battery from the key and installing the new one. Pry open the remote key plastic with a screwdriver. Once the remote is open, you will find the battery in the plastic housing. Remove the flat battery and place a new one (same voltage). Close the key remote: align the two protective plastics until they lock. Test the operation of the Freelander remote key with the buttons for locking and unlocking the doors.
