Replace Remote Battery on Freelander 2

Want to change the battery in your Land Rover Freelander 2 key? Follow these steps to replace the battery. Take your remote key and slide the button to release the metal key, then, using a screwdriver, remove the plastic cover: lever between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Extract the worn battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cover on your remote by pressing down until you hear it click into place. Test the key's functionality after replacing the battery.
