How to Change Differential Oil on Freelander

How do you change the used oil inside the differential of a Freelander? Lift the vehicle on a column lift or jack, remove the plastic cover panel located under the engine compartment, and use a socket spanner to unscrew the bolt from the differential oil sump: allow the fluid to drain into a disposal container and refit the sump bolt. Reattach the cover under the engine compartment and tighten the screws. Check the differential oil level. Lower the vehicle after changing the differential oil.
