How to Replace the Rear Headlight Bulb on a Land Rover Discovery

Model: Land Rover Discovery MK 2, Discovery 2, L318 - Years 1998-2004

Before you begin, head to the rear light of your Land Rover Discovery. Start by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the rear light, then remove the light itself. This will give you access to the socket of the burnt-out bulb, which you need to disconnect by pulling it towards you, and you will reach the burnt-out bulb. At this point, disconnect the socket from the bulb, and you will have completed the disassembly. To install the new bulb and reassemble the light, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
