To replace the battery in a Land Rover Discovery, open the hood and access the engine compartment: the battery is located at the bottom left, under a cover near the right headlight. To replace the battery, you will need to remove the plastic cover, disconnect the terminals connected to the battery, and loosen the bolts securing it in place. This will allow you to slide the battery out of its compartment and insert a new replacement. The new battery must then be connected to the cables and secured with the appropriate screws.
