Removing the knob from the Land Rover Freelander? Let's see how to remove the knob located above the central tunnel of the car. Move the leather gaiter away from under the knob, take the knob in your hands and twist it left and right until it comes off the gear lever. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the gaiter frame (if damaged). Fit the new leather gaiter with clips (if removed), then take the new knob and slide it onto the lever in the central tunnel, tightening the new knob until it is secure. Check the newly fitted parts.
