How to Replace the Steering Gear on the Land Rover Defender MK6

Model: Land Rover Defender MK 6 - Years 1990-2016

In today's video tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the steering gear on the Land Rover Defender MK6, following the instructions below. First, lift the vehicle and remove the front wheels; then disconnect the sway bar links from the steering gear by loosening the central mounting bolts with a socket wrench, and drain the power steering fluid. At this point, remove the bolts from the steering gear, taking it out and replacing it with the new one; then reassemble everything, adding the new power steering fluid, following the video tutorial to the end!
