Operation: How do I replace the Land Rover Discovery timing chain?

In order to replace the Land Rover Discovery's timing chain, you need to loosen the sprockets located on the left side of the engine block. In this way the tension of the chain will be reduced and the latter can then be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After the new chain has been positioned around the sprockets, it will be possible to close everything with the appropriate cover and the previously removed components can also be mounted, checking that everything works correctly.

We start by inserting the key but leaving it in the initial position, after which we keep the accelerator pedal fully depressed and at the same time turn on the instrument panel.
