How to Change the Battery on a Range Rover Sport

Replacing the battery is a maintenance task that you can easily do yourself. Before disconnecting it, it is advisable to have any activation codes for the radio or other systems ready. The battery in the Range Rover is located under the hood, on the passenger side, just below the windshield, behind the air filter box. Once you locate the battery compartment, remove the plastic cover, disconnect the terminals, and remove the mounting bracket to replace the battery.
