Replacing the TPMS sensor for monitoring tyre pressure is a simple and quick operation that can be done independently on a Lexus LS vehicle. To replace the sensor, you need to lift the vehicle on jack stands to remove the front and rear wheels. After removing the wheels, open the valve to slightly deflate the tyres. This step is crucial to move the tyre away from the rim and unscrew, using an Allen key, the nut that secures the sensor to the tyre. Once the damaged sensor is removed, insert the new one following the reverse procedure. Refit the tyre and inflate it according to the manufacturer's specifications and mount the tyre back on the vehicle. This procedure should be performed on all four tyres.
