To disable the traction control on a Lexus ES, start by turning on the instrument cluster by turning the ignition key in the ignition switch. Once the cluster is on, press the brake pedal all the way down twice. At this point, release the brake pedal and then press the emergency brake pedal twice; then release this pedal and press the brake pedal again twice. This way, you will notice that the traction control has been disabled, as indicated by the relevant light.
