The guide shows how to access the Lincoln Mkz Mk1 fuel pump compartment. The first operation to be performed is to go to the rear seat compartment and raise the seat cushion by operating the two levers located under the sofa. Once the sofa has been removed, it is necessary to remove the three 7 mm bolts which allow access to the inspection compartment. Clean the recess from dirt before removing the pump. Remove the hydraulic hose and the electrical connector and remove the pump locking nut; in this phase it is possible that fuel comes out of the hydraulic pipe. Reassembly is carried out in reverse order to disassembly.
