To enter the Lincoln MKX, you need to enter a code. This also applies to the American versions of the Ford Edge. Essentially, you either have the key or you need to enter this secret code to access the vehicle.

So, what do you do if you don't want to use the key and have forgotten the code? There is a place where this code is recorded. You need to open the vehicle from the driver's side and go near the pedal area.

There is a small compartment where you can access some wiring. Among the various wires, there is a five-digit code.

That is the code you need to enter the car without a key.
