Open the hood and unscrew the oil filler cap, then lift the vehicle and get a container to collect the used oil when you unscrew the drain plug. Next, locate the oil filter, which you will unscrew with the appropriate wrench to replace it with the new one after changing the sealing gasket. After all the oil has drained out, screw the drain plug back in, then return to the top of the engine compartment to fill the system with the new lubricant.
