Operation: How to replace the rear bulbs in the Maruti Alto LX?

Replacing the rear light bulbs in the Maruti Alto LX, as we can see in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and fast operation. Before proceeding, make sure that the key is not inserted in order to operate safely. Let's start by opening the boot lid, then unscrew the two bolts on the inside of the light. Once this is done, let's grab it, pull it towards us and disengage it from the bodywork. To extract a bulb from its housing, simply rotate the bulb holder anticlockwise, while it will be rotated clockwise to tighten it.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes.
