Operation: How to replace the key battery on Mazda 2

Replacing the key battery on Mazda 2 and many other models from the same manufacturer is a fairly simple operation that requires only the use of a small flat-blade screwdriver. First of all you will have to press the side button to release the physical key from its seat inside which it will be possible to notice the presence of a small plastic hook, this will have to be pressed with the tip of a screwdriver which will allow the remote control to divide into two parts. At this point the remote control will be divided between one side which will include the physical key mechanism and the other which will comprise the remote control where the battery will be kept inside. To access the battery it will be necessary to open the cover of the remote control, this will be fixed by interlocking and it will be sufficient to insert the tip of the screwdriver between the two joined parts to open them and access the battery. Once the cover has been opened in two, you can proceed by replacing the battery with a new one and you can reassemble everything in the reverse order to that of disassembly.
